Choosing a photographer needs careful consideration...

It is essential that the photographer you choose works in a way that you like so that your wedding photographs are a pleasure on the day and bring you enjoyment for years to come.
We've all heard horror stories about photographers being rude or grumpy and delivering mediocre or bad work.
You wont find any of that at ARTvisionUK photography.
A "That Will Do" attitude just isn't good enough for us and it shouldn't be good enough for you.

To help guide you to a considered decision, we bring you "The Four P's" to choosing a photographer:

  1. Photographer: Do you like the person? Are you happy to have this person following you around and at times running the show on your wedding day? A photographer with bad interpersonal skills can upset your big day.
  2. Price: This may seem an obvious consideration, but with photographers, its usually true that 'you get what you pay for'. But, when you consider that the photography is a relatively small percentage of your overall wedding expenses, it may be worthwhile stretching your photography budget a bit to get the photographer you want. Don't forget that in a few years time your photographs will be the main way you remember your day.
  3. Photographs: Do you like the photographer's work and style of photography? Always ask to view a few FULL albums before making a decision.
  4. Presentation: Do you like the albums on offer? Is there a choice of albums so that you can choose an album that matches your style.

In recent years the face of Wedding Photography has radically changed, gone are the days when the official photographs were little more than a line up of various groups of guests. As photographic styles evolve, there is an ever increasing awareness that simple yet stylish presentation is vital to tie together the creative work of the photographer with the aspirations of the Bride & Groom. Though there is still a place in any album for a few traditionally posed formal shots, I endeavour to be more adventurous in setting out the groups. I take a relaxed approach to the day, mixing with your guests and taking many shots when you and your guests are at ease and enjoying the occasion, when these are combined with any formal shots you may require, the resulting album really captures that moment for you.
My photographic style allows for you to influence the balance between formal and informal shots, you will find that I am very personable and accommodating never losing sight of the fact that this is YOUR album. If a shot you want, can be taken, I will take it, never refusing any reasonable request. I use professional series Canon Digital cameras and lenses and am skilled in Digital Darkroom techniques enabling me to create stunning images of your day displayed in beautiful albums.
